The archive didn't unpack; instead, his monitor flickered, and a single text file appeared on his desktop titled ReadMe_Before_It_Changes.txt .
Back home, he plugged the drive in. The archive finally opened, revealing thousands of photos of his own life—taken from angles he couldn't explain. The last photo was a shot of him, right now, staring at the screen, with a digital clock in the corner of the image counting down from five minutes.
