Aim for a "sweet spot" where your part weight is 20–80% of the machine's maximum shot capacity. If the ratio is too low, the resin may degrade; if too high, it leads to inconsistent melt quality.
Inspect for scoring, abrasion, or excessive clearance. Worn components cause inconsistent shot volumes and poor melt quality.
Verify the touchscreen responsiveness and check for any active error codes. Note that obsolete controls are extremely difficult to service.
