The 35th annual Crim Festival of Races took place on , in downtown Flint, Michigan , drawing a then-record estimated 16,800 participants across its six scheduled events. Key Highlights & Results

: The 2011 event was one of the final years the Crim Fitness Foundation helped manage the Brooksie Way Half Marathon before focusing more heavily on its Flint-based programs.

: Of the nearly 17,000 attendees, more than 10,000 ran the flagship 10-mile race, which is famous for its "Bradley Hills" and the blue line painted on the road to guide runners.

: Evelyn Lagat (also from Kenya) took first place for the women.

: Jon Steinhoff of Grand Blanc won the men’s division in 5:09, while Anusha Mannam was the top female finisher.
