Banner HIPAA Training Accepted at COM-T

The College of Medicine IT department is excited to announce that we are now accepting Banner Health’s HIPAA training. If you already met the annual HIPAA requirements from Banner you are no longer required to take the University of Arizona’s HIPAA training. No action is needed from you as COM IT will help you transfer your Banner HIPAA training certification data to the University and update your Edge Learning account in the background.

Increased Cyber Security Recommendations

In light of current world events, the College of Medicine I.T. unit has been informed of an increase in the number of fraudulent emails and phone calls being reported by the larger campus community. We are aware that the increased potential for cyber-attacks will continue. We have prepared the following items that will help us secure our environment:
