Intotheradius — V2.4.2.104002.rar
I grabbed the rope just as the world began to dissolve into white light.
I moved through the tall grass, my heart hammering against my ribs. Every few steps, I threw a brass shell casing ahead of me. Clink. It hit the ground and stayed. Safe. Three steps forward. Clink. The shell hit an invisible pocket of distorted gravity and zipped upward into the clouds at Mach speed. I froze, my breath hitching in my throat. IntoTheRadius v2.4.2.104002.rar

I checked my gear. In this version of the world, the shadows felt sharper, the "Mimics" more patient. I slid a fresh magazine into my PM pistol, the metallic clack echoing too loudly in the silence. My mission was simple: retrieve a film canister from the Bolotky Village.
It was a humanoid shape made of obsidian shards, wandering aimlessly until it caught my scent. It turned, its head tilting at an impossible angle. I didn't want to waste the ammo, but in v2.4, the Fragments are aggressive. I leveled the PM, squeezed the trigger— bang —and the entity shattered into a pile of ash and a glowing core.
I reached the village as the sun—if you could call that pale light a sun—began to set. The "Tide" was coming. The sky was turning a bruised purple, a warning that the Zone was about to reset, erasing anyone caught outside.
