One sunny afternoon, as Mrs. Thompson was tending to her garden, she noticed that Whiskers seemed a bit off. The usually energetic cat was lethargic and kept hiding under the porch. Concerned, Mrs. Thompson decided to examine Whiskers more closely.

As the days passed, Whiskers began to show signs of improvement. The puss started to drain, and her energy levels returned. Mrs. Thompson was overjoyed to see her beloved pet on the mend.

Upon closer inspection, Mrs. Thompson discovered a rather large and painful-looking puss (or abscess) on Whiskers' skin. She gently stroked Whiskers' fur, trying to comfort her, and thought, "I must get this treated."

Mrs. Thompson was relieved to have a plan in place and set about nursing Whiskers back to health. She administered the medication, kept Whiskers' food and water easily accessible, and even created a cozy little bed for her to rest in.
