Yato is hired to find a lost cat named Lady. After solving a supernatural conflict involving a "Blight" (dark, corrupted spirit) in a school restroom, he successfully returns the cat.

While trying to stop a cat from running into traffic, Yato is almost hit by a bus. A human girl, Hiyori Iki, sees this, mistakes Yato for a pedestrian, and pushes him out of the way, getting hit herself. Noragami (Dub) Episode 1
