Leo opened the text file. It contained a string of GPS coordinates and one sentence: He’s waiting for the floor to be built.

He tapped the arrow key to see the next photo. It was the same backyard, but the camera was closer. The dog house was slightly larger.

He didn't have to click it. The image opened itself, filling the entire screen. It was a photo of Leo, taken from behind, sitting at his desk. In the corner of the photo, the floorboards of his office were being pried up from below. A wet, scratching sound echoed from under his chair.

Leo reached for the mouse to close the window, but his computer froze. The cooling fans began to scream, spinning at maximum speed. He looked at the final file: . Leo opened the text file

Leo froze. He looked over his shoulder. His living room was empty, bathed in the blue glow of his monitor. He looked back at the screen and clicked through the photos rapidly.
